Scenic Route to Alaska

Edmonton's Scenic Route to Alaska, known for their prairie-indie sound, released their seventh album, "Lasts Forever," in April 2024. Their track "Love Keeps" hit SOCAN #1 and topped CBC Radio 2 charts in 2016. They won the Western Canadian Music Award for Rock Group of the Year in 2018 and earned five Edmonton Music Awards. The new album "Lasts Forever" promises a matured sound while maintaining their captivating live performances, solidifying their status as Canadian music pioneers.

  • Jay Gilday

A vagabond turned mailman, Jay Gilday has searched for himself in the depths of Folk, blues, traditional, rock and most recently soul music. The quest continues as Jay takes his experiences as a half Dene, half Canadian Irish youth traveling the roads of Canada, the daily roller-coaster of work, family, and performance and weaves them into song. Jay’s live performance is executed with a trained voice and a passion to drive it backed up by a heavy hitting guitar, finger-style or flat-picked, your choice!

  • Post Script

Post Script fuses vintage sensibilities with exquisite new-wave subtlety that weaves a unique and authentic portrait of their shared and individual power. The striking poignancy of Blais’ divine higher register in harmonic unity with Cournoyer’s rich baritone creates an undeniable enchantment, allowing the voices of their Franco-Albertan roots to resound with the reflection of modern soundscapes.

  • Sticks & Stone

Sticks and Stone is a percussion trio based on marimba-band concept which has been bringing music to the festivals, streets, concert halls, schools, birthday parties and celebration events of the Edmonton area since 2017. They play a little bit of every style of music and performances have included playing for the CBC Turkey Drive, the City of Edmonton New Year's Eve, the Edmonton Fringe Festival, the Epcor Christmas Gala and the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta.

  • Hermitess

Hermitess is the project of an aging and slightly reclusive witch, dreaming simultaneously in music and images. Sonically, layered orchestral textures, harmonic voices, and pedal driven magic, all conjuring a fleeting fever dream.

  • Red Hot Hayseeds

The Red Hot Hayseeds are a unique and eclectic outfit, painting the old west in vibrant new colors. For fans of Django Reinhardt and Bob Wills, expect to feel right at home. For newcomers and veterans alike who are excited about mega-throwback stars like Charley Crockett and Sierra Ferrell, you may have found the next best thing. The group's work ethic matches their thoughtful delivery, as they continue making waves with the release of their debut full-length album "How The West Was Swung" in June 2023.

  • Manny V. Y Su Esquina

Manny V. Y Su Esquina was established in 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta. The band was founded by two musicians coming together from separate worlds. Manny Valencia, born and raised in Canada and Alex Corzo from Venezuela. Together they have years of experience working in the international Latin scene. Over the last seven years ‘Esquina Latina’ has evolved to become a fan favorite at all of the events and festivals that they have been involved in! Their latin rhythms are so contagious… they’ll be sure to have you up and dancing in no time.

  • Motorbike James

Motorbike James is the musical brainchild and artist alias of Mike James Werbicki, a producer and multi-instrumentalist from Edmonton. A genre bending psychedelic indie rock experience with all the vibes.

  • Gadjo Collective

The Gadjo Collective combines the energy of Balkan music with the sensibilities of jazz improvisation for a show that is compelling to dance to, entertaining to listen to and a window into the sounds of the east. The sound is unique, the origins are ancient and the rhythm is hot!

  • Gord's Gold: A Tribute To Gordon Lightfoot

Gord's Gold was an idea cooked up by local musician, Aaron Parker only weeks after the death of Canadian legend, Gordon Lightfoot. The idea was to pay tribute to the man by singing his songs together with as many people as possible. Happily, it worked as the first Gord's Gold band tore through a sweaty set of songs with the audience loudly singing along. A year later with a few lineup changes and more rehearsals, the band is back and already rousing crowds around Alberta. With multiple "Gord's" and songs from many eras of Lightfoot's staggering catalogue, the band plays with passion, character and love.

  • L'Omelette

"L’omelette weaves threads of soul, jazz and punk into colourful, emotionally honest tapestries. The Calgary art-rockers dart between progressive and new-wave rock rhythms and synth-led dance pop, tied together by commanding, current concepts and melodies. Frontwoman Meg Benedict’s fierce vocal, saxophone and synth stylings are underpinned by thoughtful, driving guitar riffs, infectiously melodic bass lines and soaring sax and vocal harmonies. The result? Something to chew on - a vivacious, heady, danceable, thought-provoking performance."
