Who We Are
Strathearn Art Walk & Music Festival brings together emerging and professional local artists to share in the joy of creativity. Since 2012, we’ve been gathering in front of our scenic river valley to share art, swap stories, and celebrate all our city has to offer. Accessible, free-of-charge, and full of family-friendly fun, there is a place for everyone here and we cannot wait to see you soon!
Our Mission
The words at the heart of our festival are community, opportunity, and sustainability. These values guide us back to the park every year to celebrate with our neighbours and friends. Our space is one of meaningful connection between creatives, musicians, volunteers, local businesses and visitors and patrons from all walks of life! As a non-profit society, we love this city, its people, and the lasting relationships we make each year.
What We Do
We are a full-blown festival! Just as you thought the summer festival season was ending, we pop up every September with live music, food trucks, and a whole lot of fun. And of course, the main draw is the art! Stop by a tent, support a local artist, and find your new favourite piece! We are the perfect weekend spot to enjoy the last warm days of summer with your whole family (pets included)! From little folks to the older and wiser, our park space is built for all the moments you need – to run, to jump, to pause, to rest. We also have accessible washrooms, diverse snack selections, and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Come walk along the river, enjoy some art, and all the festivities with us this year!
