Artists must be showing and selling art made by the artist. No resale of commercial goods permitted.

Artists are responsible for bringing their own items to process payments (credit card reader, cash box or receipt book).

An ATM will be available on-site. However, the use of card/mobile payments will be highly encouraged for all attendees.

Prepare for the weather! Strathearn Art Walk will proceed rain or shine.

There is no power available on-site. Please ensure any powered devices are fully charged before the event.

There is no WiFi on-site.

There will be a photographer and videographer on-site to take photos for use in Strathearn Art Walk promotion. Please see the Photo Release below.

Please note the City of Edmonton does not allow vehicles to drive on parkland. All art and infrastructure must be loaded/unloaded in the designated zones.

Note that artist spots are non-refundable. No exceptions will be made.

code of conduct

The Strathearn Art Walk Society is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive festival. In order to do so, the Strathearn Art Walk requires that all participants understand and agree to this Code of Conduct in relation to all activities regarding the festival. The following actions will result in a WARNING and/or IMMEDIATE EJECTION from the festival:

Offensive or abusive language

Obscene or offensive gestures, including the use of offensive imagery and symbolism on banners, signs, and other visual tools

The participation in an activity that is insulting or harmful to oneself and/or fellow guests

Violence or engaging in any harmful behaviour to self or others

Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property

Disrespecting or damaging the festival grounds, urination or defecation outside of a proper public restroom

The possession, or sale of illegal substances

Any individual who violates this Code of Conduct may be IMMEDIATELY removed from the festival grounds (without refund). Law enforcement may be notified.

photo release

Still images and video will be recorded at this event. By entering the Strathearn Art Walk area, you consent to your likeness being used, without compensation, in films and images in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, and you release the Strathearn Art Walk Society, assignees and licensees from any liability whatsoever.

additional festival rights

Artists are responsible for safety and security within their own 10’ x 10’ spot. The Strathearn Art Walk Society and its volunteers are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any defect or error. In no respect shall the Strathearn Art Walk Society and its volunteers incur any liability for any damages, including, but limited to, direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of, resulting from, or any way connected to Strathearn Art Walk and its volunteers, whether or not based upon expressed or implied warranty, contract, or otherwise; whether or not the injury was sustained by persons or property or otherwise; and whether or not the loss was sustained from, or arose out of, the results of, the item, or any action by the Strathearn Art Walk Society and its volunteers.
